ADVISORY: "Tabang Sendong Appeal"
The Embassy of the Philippines in London expresses sympathy and condolences to the families of those who were affected by storm Sendong (international name: Washi) that battered Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro City over the weekend.
In the spirit of solidarity, the Embassy enjoins all individuals and Filipino organizations in the United Kingdom to set aside cash donations to assist victims of the disaster in the two cities and their barangays.
The following institutions are accepting cash donations to help, in equal priority, victims in Iligan and Cagayan de Oro, through their Philippine bank accounts:
