A landslide in Oriental Davao has reportedly killed 3 people in a jeepney.
The incident happened at 1.30pm local time 26 Feb at Sitio Mayas, Barangay Tagabakid at the junction of Tarragona-Mati Road.
Richard Villacorte, administrator of Mati City confirmed three persons killed in the landslide.
He added that search and rescue operations were contiunuing after reports that three other vehicles were also involved in the landslide.
The identities of the 3 casualties has been confirmed, they are:
Arturo Sucnaan, 57; Arnel Sucnaan, 35; and Leonara Mabandas, age unknown, all listed as residents of Tarragona. (See NDRRMC report below)
