The infamous Helena Skeggs aka Helena Pedroche, is being hauled to court over her investment and loan schemes by the first of two of her victims.
In two separate cases that have reached the London Central County Court, Skeggs and her husband Richard are the defendants with suits totalling well over £130,000.

The first case has her in front of a judge on the 9th December 2011 for a case management hearing. This is for a total of £74K.
The second case has just been transferred and is waiting a listing date and is for a total of £56k plus interest.
Skeggs has been making a business of getting loans, investments and otherwise milking Filipinos for money in London for many years. Among her many claims are that she is the daughter of former dictator Ferdinand Marcos.
Both cases were originally slated for hearings at Ilford County Court (where Skeggs has already been judged liable in another 3 cases), however, they have been transferred to the Central London Court.
This is a specialist county court, which could roughly be described as being between a normal county court and the High Court. It handles cases considered too difficult or large for county courts.
The case for 9 December is a case management hearing, and a full hearing is expected to be listed for the New Year.
After years of being fobbed off with excuses, her many victims are starting to take legal action to recover their money.
