POWER CRISIS: COMPANIES RELYING MORE ON THEIR OWN GENERATORS

Big business establishments in Davao Region are now providing their own generator sets to help ease the power problem especially in Mindanao.

SM City Davao, one of the largest mall operators in the region, is now running its own generator set every two hours daily in the afternoon.

The Marco Polo Davao also utilizes its generator set every day to help ease on the power demand of Southern Mindanao amid the power crisis.

San Miguel Corporation, which runs a brewery plant in Darong, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, is running its own generator set every five hours daily during the peak hours. FULL STORY
