Filipino Women activists burn an effigy of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo during the celebration of International Women's day held near the Malacanang Palace in Manila Philippines. Anther photo shows Liberal Party Senatorial candidate Liza Hontiveros Baraquel clenching her fist while delivering a speech during the demonstration on the Reproductive Health issue.
Baraquel made her speech amid a crowd of women activists, which also was to bring to attention the reproductive health issue that has now got many presidential wannabees on the hop as the Catholic Church brings pressure to drop support of the bill in Congress along with other issues including violence against women.
