The Department of Health on Friday released the list of additional 97 drugs whose prices were voluntary offered to be cut in half by pharmaceutical companies under the Cheaper Medicines Act.
The second batch of voluntary price cuts under the Government Mediated Access Price (GMAP) included for the first time five dialysis devices of different models whose prices were reduced by 30%.
The new price cuts would be effective on March 31, although some rates would take effect as early as March 1 and as late as Aug. 1. FULL STORY
