Caring Careers Training Officially Closed Down

20 July 2011

The Oxfordshire based NVQ training college Caring Careers Training (CCT) run by Andrew Battman which ripped off many Pinoys, has been formally wound up after a report was submitted by investigators of the UK Companies House Insolvency Service.

Investigators discover a link to Precision Training.

The company and its officers duped hundreds of students, many of them Filipinos, into paying for non-existent training courses.

The petition was presented to Registrar Ms Barber at the High Court in London this morning in respect of CCT and an associated company Caring Careers Ltd.

The main grounds for the winding up petition were that CCT had failed to provide adequate training, failing to keep and maintain adequate records, abandonment of the company and of insolvency.

NVQ TRAINING FIRM BOSSES IN THE FIRING LINE

Police and law officers in the Philippines and United Kingdom are dusting off old files in anticipation of the formality of the extradition treaty between the two countries which was signed last year. All that is holding it up is the Senate ratifying it and a lot of wanted people in both countries are expected to be paid visits.

Andrew Battman of Caring Careers Training in Oxfordshire and Adrian Park of Jivaro in Cheshire, both companies involved in NVQ training, have had indictments filed before the Davao Regional Trial Court (RTC) and lawyers there are set to file extradition requests as soon as possible. It is not expected they will be the only ones.

Victims of Caring Careers Training are waiting for a possible rescue - unlike the shot below from the BBC Classic "Only Fools & Horses" Christmas Special where Del and Rodney come out of the fog to save a mugging victim dressed for a party as Batman & Robin. A clip from the episode is below for a little light relief from this depressing story
