After the tragic death in London of controversial politician Ignacio "Iggy" Arroyo last week, the infighting over his body has been temporarily halted.
After some intervention and mediation by the Philippine embassy in London, the body is being embalmed and readied for flying out of London this coming Friday by JH Kenyon's, a British firm of undertakers (morticians).

A very discreet spokesman for Kenyon's West London office in Kensington (above) told Balita Pinoy the body was being prepared for handover to a specialist company who arrange international transportation of remains abroad.
This will be done at the end of this week. The paperwork is being handled by the embassy in London.
The spokesman was still being very discreet when asked about the argument between the wife of Arroyo, and his partner who was with him at the London Clinic when he died. All he said was he was aware of a possible dispute, but stated that the embassy had dealt with any problems so the Negros congressman's remains could be repatriated with the minimum of fuss and controversy.
If all goes smoothly, the casket should arrive in Manila sometime Saturday.
Ignacio Arroyo died suddenly last week while being treated in a private London hospital. His life support system was switched of after he was declared brain dead.
Twice married, his first marriage was annulled. Arroyo had been living with Grace Ibuna for several years after splitting with his second wife, Alicia. There are reports this second marriage was also in the process of being annulled. He was sixty when he died and was brother of former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo, who had been linked to him over some controversial financial deals.
