"Iggy" Arroyo Dies In London

Ignacio (Iggy) Tuason Arroyo, Jr. has died in London. The brother in law of former President Gloria Arroyo, he was declared dead earlier today in a very brief statement made by the London Clinic which had been treating him.

The statement reads: Sadly, I can confirm that Mr Ignacio Arroyo passed away at the Clinic early this morning. We would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. It would be inappropriate at this time for us to disclose any more details.

The London Clinic where Iggy Arroyo died 

His brother, the former First Gentleman "Mike" Arroyo confirmed that his death was after a life support machine had been switched off. There have been confusing reports about the illness.

What is known is that the London Clinic specializes in cancer treatment. 

A politician since 2004 when first elected as a representative for the 5th District in Negros Occidental, he was 60 years old at the time of his death.

Controversy surrounded questionable business dealings involving his brother Mike Arroyo. 

He is survived by his wife Alicia and their three children.

It looks very familiear of the clinic being published. It is in the corner of Upper Wimpole Street and Marylebone Road, London W1.
