The long running saga of the visa fraud perpetuated by "Dr" Ressie Reyes Macaraeg took on a new twist when a ledger surfaced last week.

The ledger shows payments from Macaraeg's victims covering the period March 2010 to March 2011.

It shows payments of approximately £1,000,000, with refunds of £166,000.

Until the discovery of this ledger, it was assumed there were only about 100 victims of the fake dentist's visa fraud. This ledger details 218 people paying her, although this ledger stops in March of 2011, therefore it must be assumed there are many more.

Given the level of her [Macaraeg's] activities, it can be readily assumed these numbers to have increased by at least 80. This would take the amounts to well over the 1.3 million pound mark.

Perusal of the ledger shows a couple of interesting points. One is that while in many entries, deposits are followed by final payments, some are left blank with no apparent explanation.

One victim has told Balita Pinoy that in her case, £2,000 was paid in the UK to Macaraeg, with the balance of £2,000 being paid by her family in the Philippines direct to an account belonging to the "Treasures of Bolinao Resort" in Pagasinan. This had come to attention previously, although Macaraeg insists she has no financial involvement in this hotel/holiday complex. She has stated this is owned by her father and that she has no interest in it.

Also of interest is Macaraeg's sweet tooth; in the expenses are listed payments for "Krispy Kreme" doughnuts purchased from Harrods, the top people's store in London's Knightsbridge.

To all the victims of Ressie Reyes Macaraeg please be aware UKBA is now doing spot check. Many now of the victims who are illegaly staying in this country were arrested. In London and in the country side as well heard some news most of Ressie Reyes victims (applicant) being deported. Isa isa nang pinagdadampot ng UKBA kc hawak ni Ressie lahat ng mga information ninyo. She is the one who reported to the UKBA just to get rid of the refunds, mostly to avoid legal complaints against her. Sunod sunod na ngaun ang pang aaresto. Last week my nahuli na nman hindi pa kasali ung 5 na aplikante na nadeport na. Sila ang nagsusubaybay sa storya na ito hopefully we can get justice soon then the Demon Ressie REyes Macaraeg will go to jail. Immigration is right! To all the victims please cover up your back and make an action before something will happen. Ressie and Gladys has all the info of all the applicants and this two will stimulate and do immoral actions just to get rid of the clients who complained with their problems. Most of the applicants who applied to Ressie and Gladys are already illegal here in the Uk because they ruined our lives and much more, destroyed our future. Ressie is in the USA in her Aunt's place. She's really guilty of what she did to the victims that's why she went away. Anyway, it's one way of showing Ressie is not respecting the court or the authorities here in UK.She thinks that she can get away with this. last nov11,2011 nagrerecruit pa c ressie reyes d2 sa uk at nakaharap ko cya personally at sasamahamn daw kami sa nursing home na nagbibigay ng working permit together with another filipino at 2indian nationalities with one of them accompanied with his wife and children..all of them already pay huge amount of money and im very surprice na mamemet ko sya.ang hindi nya alam nakita ko na sa baltang pinoy uk ang name nya at mga pinagagawa nya panloloko sa kapwa.babala sa mga kababayan natin pinoy patuloy na nagrerecruit cya at mga kasabwat nito sa kanilang panloloko....

Letter to the editor of Balita Pinoy, I feel that I must respond to your article on Ocean Recruitment Agency 127 Harley Street, run by Ressie Macaraeg. It is my understanding that there was a close team of Filipino staff employed by Ressie. All the members of staff were Glory Mae Abarrita, Melanie (surname unknown), Love Calamba and Gladys Canal. According to sources Glory Mae, Melanie and Love were receiving £300 a week cash in hand. They were also getting free food, accommodation, transportation (i.e. taxis everywhere) and also they were eating in the best restaurants, staying in 4 star hotels when they traveled with Ressie. They were also members in one of the top leisure clubs in London (David Llyods- Gym, Health and Fitness Club) address 116 Cromwell Road London SW7 4XR. For 18 months they were enjoying the PERKS OF THE JOB, so why are they coming out now against Ocean Recruitment Agency? They were receiving £300 a week for 18 months cash in hand, do the maths??? They were part of the fraud for 18 months and all of a sudden they are the victims. As for Gladys Canal(agents right hand) was receiving approximately £500 per applicant. All of the above mentioned, in their own way were part of the scam.

I've been following the RESSIE MACARAEG-Ocean Recruitment Agency SAGA with interest. What really amazes me is why all the UNFORTUNATE FILIPINOS and other NATIONALITIES who got caught up in the recruitment SCAM do not report the case at Westminster POLICE STATION (close to Harley St.where she used to operate from) Each applicant must file their grievances/complaints to the police station,THEN and only THEN will CHARGES BE MADE that there's a proof of the SCAM.SO FILIPINOS PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, STOP TALKING AND DO SOMETHING IF YOU WANT JUSTICE, DONT BE AFRAID TO COME FORWARD.
