Celeste Limbaco: Latest Victim Of "Dentist" Ressie Reyes Macaraeg

October 20, 2011

Pinay Celeste Limbaco is the latest victim of the illegal immigration advisor Ressie Reyes Macaraeg, who also says she is a dentist in London's Harley Street, to pay the price of trusting her.

The former student paid Macaraeg £4,000 to get her Tier 4 visa changed to a Tier 2 status.

The result of this trust is that Ms Limbaco was forcibly removed from the UK last Friday to the Philippines after being held at Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre (pictured below). She was deported as she was a visa overstayer because of the fake dentist.

She had been reporting to police in Chatham every Monday as part of her appeal process. This appeal process was in place as her Tier 4 visa had expired. Last Monday she went to report as normal and found herself arrested on a warrant authorizing her removal from the UK as an overstayer.

She was transported to Yarl's Wood in Bedfordshire from where she was taken to the airport and placed an a one-way flight to Manila last Friday.

As she sat in the economy seat flying 8,000 miles back home, she was ruefully contemplating why she had placed her future, as well as four thousand hard earned pounds, to a fellow Filipina who has destroyed the lives of so many others.

Macaraeg has made a business out of promising people that she could change their Tier 4 (student) visas into Tier 2 (shortage occupation) visas as she could get Certificates of Sponsorship from British employers. Only £4,000 and payable in cash please, no checks, thank you!

Celeste Limbaco is not the only Filipino who has experienced the dubious delights of Yarl's Wood's hospitality courtesy of the demon dentist of Harley Street. Many others who entrusted their passports, money and future in Macaraeg's hands have ended up there, en-route to an armoured bus to Heathrow airport as they are deported.

Having spoken to many of her victims, the one constant refrain is that as she [Macaraeg] is a dentist in Harley Street, she was to be trusted. Everybody believed she was legal, that the authorities would not allow an impostor to operate illegally in the heart of London's posh medical district, nor would the Home Office allow an illegal immigration advisor to practise from there.

In addition to the visa victims, Macaraeg has also undertaken dental work in the UK illegally and dispensed prescription only drugs.

Although Macaraeg has pretended to be a Harley Street dentist, she is in fact only registered as a nurse.

Letter to the editor of Balita Pinoy, I feel that I must respond to your article on Ocean Recruitment Agency 127 Harley Street, run by Ressie Macaraeg. It is my understanding that there was a close team of Filipino staff employed by Ressie. All the members of staff were Glory Mae Abarrita, Melanie (surname unknown), Love Calamba and Gladys Canal. According to sources Glory Mae, Melanie and Love were receiving £300 a week cash in hand. They were also getting free food, accommodation, transportation (i.e. taxis everywhere) and also they were eating in the best restaurants, staying in 4 star hotels when they traveled with Ressie. They were also members in one of the top leisure clubs in London (David Llyods- Gym, Health and Fitness Club) address 116 Cromwell Road London SW7 4XR. For 18 months they were enjoying the PERKS OF THE JOB, so why are they coming out now against Ocean Recruitment Agency? They were receiving £300 a week for 18 months cash in hand, do the maths??? They were part of the fraud for 18 months and all of a sudden they are the victims. As for Gladys Canal(agents right hand) was receiving approximately £500 per applicant. All of the above mentioned, in their own way were part of the scam.

I've been following the RESSIE MACARAEG-Ocean Recruitment Agency SAGA with interest. What really amazes me is why all the UNFORTUNATE FILIPINOS and other NATIONALITIES who got caught up in the recruitment SCAM do not report the case at Westminster POLICE STATION (close to Harley St.where she used to operate from) Each applicant must file their grievances/complaints to the police station,THEN and only THEN will CHARGES BE MADE that there's a proof of the SCAM.SO FILIPINOS PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, STOP TALKING AND DO SOMETHING IF YOU WANT JUSTICE, DONT BE AFRAID TO COME FORWARD. ILLEGALS OR NOT, THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET JUSTICE DONE.
