Balita Pinoy is rolling out a massive, and totally free, Classified Adverts section for Filipinos. This is not limited to purely the Philippines, but is also for the 10 million or so OFW's around the globe.
What is new in this case is that it is specifically designed for Filipinos, and not just modified, as well as all adverts are screened to minimize the possibility of scam adverts.
Up until now, Classified Adverts have normally been paid for, or free if in a limited format. Also, and more crucially, they are usually localized. With the expansion of the reach of the internet this allows a global readership, and with that for example, the opportunity for an employer to advertize a job and get the widest possible audience.
This holds true for real estate listings, whether in RP or abroad.
Photos can be added free of charge, especially useful if selling a property, car or furniture.
LISTINGS ALL GO ON THE RSS SYSTEM

All listings are configured in such a way that they go out to subscribers instantly vis the RSS system directly to their computers
To widen the potential audience of all classifieds, Balita Pinoy is displaying all the classifieds not only on their respective section, but also on the "blog" section, which is normally used for the first listing of news items. The benefit of this is that it is subscribed to by people via its RSS feed as this is free, so the moment an ad is displayed, it is instantly on the RSS feed system.
Once knowledge of this is widely known, more people will subscribe via the RSS feed system, so they can keep track of all offerings, ignoring those of no interest, and clicking on those they are looking fo.
As the RSS is free, and instantly goes onto subscribers' computers, the potential audience is limitless.
By the same token, all ads being displayed are also held in their respective sections within Balita Pinoy.
All Classified Adverts submissions are by their respectve form, with a crucial difference to the normal procedure; all ads are are then checked and posting here is made by hand within Balita Pinoy's system. So ads are not automatically displayed. Whilst there is no complicated registration procedure to go through, ads that are obviously "scams" are discarded, especially the fake job offers such as those originating in West Africa, the same goes for other such unwanted ads.
Unlike the larger (mostly) free classified advert systems such as Craig's List or Gumtree, this is specifically for Filipinos home and abroad, and is designed with that audience in mind. And all Classified Adverts are free.
