A Palace official assured administration-backed Lakas-Kampi-CMD coalition party's financial capability to continue pursuing its election campaign this year.
"I'm sure we'll be able to sustain this campaign," Lakas-Kampi-CMD stalwart and presidential legal adviser Prospero Pichay said Tuesday during a Palace briefing.
He gave this assurance after reports said some Lakas-Kampi-CMD bets are concerned about financial support the coalition is extending to the campaign.
Pichay said Lakas-Kampi observes paced campaign spending since it has a big political machinery to support.
"The party has candidates in about 80 percent of areas nationwide so we can't just spend left and right," he said.
Lakas-Kampi plans on tapping more of television to further boost its electoral bid, however, Pichay announced. FULL STORY
