FIRE VICTIMS KILL OCCUPANT OF HOUSE WHERE BLAZE STARTED

Irate fire victims in Sampaloc, Manila on Saturday beat and stabbed to death a 42-year-old man who resided in a house where a two-hour fire allegedly originated last Tuesday.

Police identified the fatality as Benjamin Flores, 42, of 934 Norma St., Sampaloc, Manila. The victim died from 30 stab wounds.

Chief Insp. Erwin Margarejo, chief of the Manila Police District homicide section, said they have yet to identify the attackers as no residents wanted to testify against them.

Police Officer 3 Rommel del Rosario, of the MPD homicide section, said the victim was found sprawled in front of a house at 963 Norma near corner Luzon Sts., Sampaloc, Manila by several bystanders at 4:30 a.m. Saturday. FULL STORY
