Nacionalista Party (NP) presidential candidate Manny Villar expressed suspicion on Thursday that his opponents in politics have been conspiring in what he perceived as efforts to damage his character and integrity.
”They are ganging up on me. But I won’t stop in pursuing my dream to end poverty whether I win or lose in the coming presidential elections,” Villar said in his speech in front of 5,000 crowd during the 3rd Buluwan (gold) festival celebration here.
In a transcript of his interview with dzBB’s presidential program “Ikaw Na Ba”, Villar said: ”I can see that it is a patterned effort that all of them wanted to picture out that I’m paying media and my opponents.”
Villar was reacting to the accusation of Bagumbayan presidential candidate Richard Gordon that the former sent emissary to convince Gordon to withdraw his candidacy in exchange of big amount money including reimbursement of the latter’s campaign expenses. FULL STORY
