Eastern European Immigration Stretching Resources To The Limit

Mass immigration from Eastern Europe boom is stretching schools and hospitals to breaking point, council chiefs warned this week.

Reports published by the Daily Mail say that council chiefs this week condemned the Government’s immigration figures, saying high and uncounted numbers of new residents are putting too much strain on services.

A string of local authorities said few of the 1.5million Poles and other Eastern Europeans who came after 2004 had gone home. Comment and Full story
